Quote from Charles Martin's Chasing Fireflies: "The words that sink down deepest are whispered words, not shouted words." My prayer is that I learn to whisper more, which will probably leave me more time for listening!
If any of you homeschoolers (or other schoolers, for that matter) have access to a good microscope, try this: Print an "e" with an ink jet printer. Use a small font like Arial 9, cut out your "e", place it on a glass slide and look at it under the microscope. Begin with your lowest power lens, then continue fine tuning as you increase lens power. Those straight edges aren't straight at all, and the white paper around your "e" isn't actually white, but very ink-splattered! Cool
Although I've been a lurker for some time, I was recently just brave enough to start a blog. But I hardly know what I'm doing. I joined a blogring, then began reconsidering. I really don't know if I want to be a part of any particular blogring, especially one which is somewhat controversial. So I left my ring. And now I can't find my blog!!!! Not that it's of any great importance but I was rather enjoying our new relationship. If any of you (on my old blogring) can find me, I assure you that my leaving was nothing personal and you will continue to hear from me. (I can just hear you cheering.) Seriously, God's Blessings to each of you. Now I must go hunt for my blog page!
I like this quote: "Our human perspective is often that a trial is a loss of that precious portion of our life that was rightfully our own. But from God's perspective, a trial is merely a re-alignment of our reality back to His one true reality"
